Special Potluck and Shabbat Service at Mishkan Torah

Mishkan Torah Synagogue at 10 Ridge Road in Greenbelt is delighted to announce special summertime activities the evening of Friday, July 26, 2013. That evening, Mishkan Torah will sponsor an outdoor dairy and vegan potluck supper starting at six PM, to be followed by a creative Shabbat service at eight o’clock. If you plan to attend the supper, please bring a dairy or vegan dish to share with eight to ten people.

The service will emphasize music and be led by Cantor Yael Fischman, Rabbi Saul Oresky, and Rebecca Lemus. People are encouraged to bring small percussion instruments, such as tambourines and small drums, and guitars. The public is invited to attend and participate, and there will be no charge for any of the activities. In case of inclement weather, the supper and the service will be held indoors at the Synagogue.
