Update: The Greenbelt Police Department issued a statement on Friday confirming that state prosecutors dropped current charges against Sheldon Snead and K’Vaughn Brandon Hines who had been arrested in connection with the December 17, 2011 sexual assault of a 24-year-old female in the 6000 block of Cherrywood Lane in Greenbelt.
