Super Bowl XLVII pits the 49ers' Jim Harbaugh against the Ravens' John Harbaugh. Patch shares the story of the Harbaugh family leading into Super Bowl Sunday.
Jack Harbaugh coached for decades. He was the head coach for 55 games. He's seen a lot of football. But only once before has the father of three watched as his two sons coached against one another in the NFL. And after three-or-so agonizing hours on Thanksgiving Day 2011, Harbaugh visited the bowels of M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, peered into the Ravens locker room to see his jubilant son, John. Then he took an immediate detour to the visiting locker room to find his son, Jim. That's where he belonged. "It was quiet and somber, and finally I saw Jim, all by himself, no one around him. Maryland staff wants to hear cawing from Six Flags' president in California, but he's planning on a 49ers win with some Kaepernicking instead.
Six Flags America in Upper Marlboro, MD, has bet Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in California that it is the Ravens, and not the 49ers, who will bring home the Lombardi trophy after Super Bowl XLVII. One of the parks is in for a big surprise, as both of their presidents are convinced of victory. "There's a lot of smack talk going on here between the two parks," said Havilah Ross, Six Flags America spokeswoman. Among other hat-eating feats, the park president whose team loses has to don the winning team's jersey and cap all day — plus lift high a large banner outside his park congratulating the winners. Convinced of victory, President Don McCoy of Six Flags Discovery Kingdom shot out an an email telling President Rick Howarth that he wanted…

Third-party tickets range from $2,000 up to six-figures for the big game.
Die-hard Ravens fans will do a lot to show their support for their team. But would they pay almost $316,000 to see them battle the San Francisco 49ers at Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans? Doug Gardner, of Parkton, has been a fan of the Ravens "since day one" and showed his support for the team by wearing his Ray Rice jersey on top of his business clothes. "I even kept it on for client meetings, including some I was meeting for the first time," he said. When asked about the high third-party ticket prices, Gardner said he'd pay "maybe $1,000" to go to the Super Bowl. While tickets for the Super Bowl are always more expensive than regular season or even playoff games, the StubHub website currently lists nearly …
