Silver Spring women among first to marry.

Sen. Paul Pinsky was arrested at the White House while protesting the Keystone pipeline plan.
Maryland State Senator Paul Pinsky (D-Dist. 22) was arrested outside the White House on Friday afternoon. These signs will be used to show solidarity for the Hyattsville school.
Some residents and members of area churches gathered Sunday night to make signs that will be used in a counter-protest on the morning of March 1 at Northwestern High School in Hyattsville. The counter-protest is in response to a planned protest by the Westboro Baptist Church, which is known for its anti-homosexual stance and for protesting the funerals of fallen soldiers. Residents from Hyattsville are planning a similar sign making event from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. tonight at Hyattsville Elementary School.
