The Baltimore Ravens come home from New Orleans as Super Bowl champs and will parade from City Hall to M&T Bank Stadium.
If you still haven't gotten the celebration out of your system after Sunday night's Super Bowl victory by the Baltimore Ravens, you might be interested to know that the team is holding a victory parade downtown. Around 10:45 a.m. Feb. 5, members of the Super Bowl-winning Baltimore Ravens will parade from Baltimore's City Hall (100 N. Holliday St.) to M&T Bank Stadium, according to a post on the Ravens' website. To check out the parade route, see the interactive map above. Beginning around 12:30 p.m., fans are invited to join the team at M&T Bank Stadium for a celebration featuring the team and live entertainment, the website says. It's official. Here is the lineup for the Greenbelt Labor Day Parade on Monday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The parade route is along Crescent Road, from Green Hill Road to Centerway. Parade Participants Lineup Order The parade is part of the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival, a four-day holiday weekend celebration with a cornocopia of offerings from roller skating and carnival rides to food, an art show, balloons, an old-time town fair, and more. Parade participants often invite other parties to join them, so take a look at the Greenbelt Labor Day Festival website to check for any additions. It also provides line up notes for participants.

On Labor Day afternoon, at the festival's main stage, Bob Zugby announced that the winner of the "Best in Parade" category was the Greenbelt S.I.T.Y. Stars jump rope team. The acronym stands for: sensational, inspiring, talented, youth. The team received a trophy and cash prize, as did all first place winners, with first runners-up receiving cash. There is no runner-up in the "Best in Parade" category because it is the top award. The final morning of the 57th Annual Greenbelt Labor Day Festival featured the Labor Day parade. Police shut down most of Crescent Road for the parade and hundreds of Greenbelt residents lined the streets to watch. A long-time Greenbelt tradition, the parade showcases many of the things that Greenbelt has to offer. Among the participants in this year’s parade were local politicians, the winners and participants from yesterday’s Miss Greenbelt pageant, law enforcement and fire services, youth groups, marching bands and community based religious organizations. This year’s parade saw people marching to represent both Protect Marriage Maryland, a group opposing same sex marriage, and GreenBeLT Pride, a group sensitive to the needs of gays, …

If you plan to enter a competition, reference it for guidelines and contacts. Stay tuned for information on shuttle bus services during the festival. Please arrive at your desired location early on Monday or use shuttle services. Major roads in old Greenbelt will be closed from around 8:30 a.m. or 9 a.m. (depending on foot traffic) until the parade ends around noon.
