Stay cool and enjoy some hot events indoors this weekend.
With temperatures expected to hover around 100 degrees, it’s a good idea to stay indoors as much as possible. Luckily, Beltway Plaza Mall has some great events planned for this weekend, July 9-10. Saturday Renowned local Sensei Leon Swain, a 5th degree black belt and Sensei Theresa Beck of the Berywn Heights Okinawan Goju-Ryu Club will offer a karate demonstration at Center Court from 1-2 p.m. Sunday Humberto Guzman and his Mariachi band will be back by popular demand, strolling the mall playing their special blend of old and new Latin tunes as a part of the mall’s on-going “Latin Sundays” series. The proud Humberto Guzman and his mariachi band bring heartfelt music to the mall for Latin Sunday.
Humberto Guzman is the intense and expressive leader of the mariachi quartet he brings to Beltway Plaza Mall almost every other Sunday as part of the mall's Latin Sunday Series. "This is definitely one of the many series of efforts by Quantum/Beltway Plaza Mall to provide entertainment and service to the community and enhance the Mall to attract customers and increase foot traffic," said Janubi Devendra, director of marketing for Quantum Companies, which manages the mall.
