Edward Douglas McCormick was found guilty of possession with intent to distribute cocaine.
Edward Douglas McCormick, of Baltimore, was sentenced to 10 years, with five years suspended, after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute cocaine, according to a July 10 Greenbelt Police press release. Officers on a routine patrol on May 22, 2011, encountered McCormick, 41, acting strangely in the middle of the road in the 9300 block of Edmonston Road in Greenbelt, police said. During the encounter, officers recovered a large quantity of cocaine from McCormick and arrested him, police said. McCormick was sentenced on June 15, 2012, in the Prince George's County Circuit Court, police said.
