Greenbelt Men Charged with Intent to Distribute Drugs in School Zone Police arrested two Greenbelt men Tuesday and charged them with possession with intent to distribute drugs in a school zone at 3:41 p.m., according to Greenbelt Police. Car Crashes into AT&T Store at Bowie Town Center A 30-year-old woman was transported to the hospital for minor injuries Monday, May 14 after crashing her vehicle into the AT&T store in the Bowie Town Center. Damage to the store was minor, according to officials. Denny's Closes in Greenway Center

Denny's Corporation confirmed, Denny's in Greenbelt is closed.

Denny's Corporation has closed its restaurant on 7405 Greenbelt Road in Greenway Center, according to Dory Djerf, executive secretary to Denny's president and CEO, John Miller. Denny's has nearly 1,700 locations across the country that it evaluates regularly, Liz Brady, Denny's spokesperson, explained, adding it decided not to renew its Greenbelt lease, which is up for renewal. Patch will provide more information on the closing and what might replace it, as it becomes available.

From what I was told from a reliable source is that Greenway Shopping Center doesn't want any businesses that are open 24 hours anymore. Apparently, CVS (which is also opened 24 hours) will no longer be open 24 hours which will make the closest 24-hour CVS the one on Annapolis Road. I don't understand the reasoning.
