Police arrested Alexander Jesus Gutierrez, 18, also known as Alexander Gutierrez-Abarca of Riverdale.
Detectives have arrested Alexander Jesus Gutierrez, 18, as a suspect in a Nov. 12 carjacking in the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road, Greenbelt Police said. The suspect is also known as Alexander Gutierrez-Abarca of Riverdale, according to police. Gutierrez allegedly assaulted and robbed a man in the vehicle before carjacking it, according to Ofc. Kelly Lawson, police spokesperson. Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Guitierrez from the District Court for Prince George's County that charged him with carjacking, armed robbery and first-degree assault, among other charges, Greenbelt police say.
