The Greenbelt Police Department provided the following report which included five burglaries, a drug arrest, four DWIs, and five automative crimes. Center City July 27 at 2:46 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Southway. Tiffany Shanta Robinson, 34, of Capitol Heights, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial. July 29 at 7:51 p.m.: Burglary. 100 block Westway. Credit cards, jewelry and clothing were taken. Greenbelt Police arrest a suspect in three recent armed robberies and a burglary.
The Greenbelt Police Department Emergency Response Unit moved in Tuesday making an arrest for three recent armed robberies and a burglary. They also recovered property belonging to the victims, and a large quantity of narcotics, according to police. Assisted by the Laurel Police Department Emergency Response Team, at around 6 a.m. police served a search warrant at 141 Westway Road, Apt. T4 in Greenbelt. They arrested Delvin James Ware, 20, according to Greenbelt Police. Police charged Ware with three counts of armed robbery and one count of first- degree burglary. He was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner. Two of the robberies took place in the University Square area, specifically …

Kevin Lee Coleman gets 20 years in prison for April burglaries on Mandan Road.
A 31-year-old Greenbelt man was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Dec. 1, according to a Dec. 8 press release from the Greenbelt Police Department. Kevin Lee Coleman, of 7915 Mandan Road, pled guilty to burglary charges in Prince George's County Circuit Court in August and three years of his sentence was suspended. He was charged with first degree burglary and conspiracy to commit third degree burglary, according to Circuit Court of Maryland records and Greenbelt police. Coleman was arrested and charged as a suspect in two burglaries that occurred in April 2011 in the 8000 block of Mandan Road, Greenbelt police state.
