Elections Website Restored

For several hours on Monday evening, the State Board of Elections site would not load content.

UPDATE, 11:25 p.m.: Site back up and running. UPDATE, 8:11 p.m.: The site is still down. Hours before primary election day, the Maryland State Board of Elections website is down, due to a "runtime error." The site, http://www.elections.state.md.us/ has no information and is full of text code. Patch noticed this about 5:30 p.m. Patch tried calling the BOE but the call would not go through. Carol Conors, of the League of Women Voters, said it is sad that people will not be able to get the voting information off the site. "I think it's tragic," she said. "The Internet is such a complicated thing. It's too bad that we have  to depend on these things." Voters can find information about tomorrow's primary elections at http://pg1.lwvmd.org/n/…
