Prince George's County Fair

·      Where:  14900 Pennsylvania Ave, Upper Marlboro

·      Description:  Annual event featuring live animals, food, music, carnival games and much more.

·      Cost: Ages 5 and under: Free / Ages 6-11: $5 / Ages 12 and over: $6

Taste Prince George’s

·      Where:  Six Flags AmericaMitchellville

·      When:  Saturday, Sept. 7

·      Description:  Prince George’s County’s favorite restaurants and food trucks 
are coming together for one special day, Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Six Flags America for a festival of tastes.

PEP HEP SUNDAY MORNING MEDITATING WALK

·      Where:  College Park Community Center

·      When:  Sunday, Sept. 8, 7 a.m.

·      Description:  The Morning Meditating Walk is an hour long walk to promote movement and fitness. Each month the walks take place in different locations across the DC Metropolitan region for 1 hour. This walk will be in the College Park, MD areas Lake Artemesia trail. Participants will meet at the College Park Community Center to park and the walk starts promptly at 7:00 AM.

ALL YOU CAN EAT BREAKFAST- LAUREL ELKS LODGE

·      Where:  Laurel Elks Lodge, 8261 Brock Bridge Rd, Laurel

·      When:  Sunday, Sept. 8, 8 a.m.

·      Description:  All you can eat breakfast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, toast, biscuit, cream chipped beef, bacon, sausage, fruit, juice, milk, coffee.

·      Cost: Adults: $8 / Children: 5-14: $4 / Children 5 and under: Free

St. Mary's Church Rummage Sale

·      Where:  1 St. Mayr's Church Road, Abigndon

·      When:  Friday, Sept. 6, 10 a.m.

·      Description:  Clothing, shoes, electronics, toys, pots and pans, kitechen items, collectibles, tools, holiday and home décor, books, records, tapes, bedding, furniture and much more.

·      Cost: Free

2nd Annual CPW Dog Splash

·      Where:  3545 Marlbrough Way, College Park Woods Swim Club

·      When:  Saturday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m.

·      Description:  All friendly dogs welcome to come enjoy the pool the month of September to jump in and enjoy. Warning no lifeguards on duty. The pool is has a large green space surrounded by a closed fence line. Saturdays 10am-12 and Sundays 4-6pm for the month of September with an option (if supported) to make this a September to May dog play area.

Community Fest

·      Where:  St. Matthew's United Methodist Church, Bowie

·      When:  Saturday, Sept. 7, 11 a.m.

·      Description:  Community Fest is an invitational event to show the community around us who we are. It includes fun, games, live entertainment and community outreach services.

·      Cost:  Free
