National Public Lands Day

The National Environmental Education Foundation states that more than 180,000 volunteers are expected at more than 2,000 sites across the country and in U.S. territories. Folks in every state will chip and work on their favorite parks, beaches, wildlife preserves or forests.

As Philippe Cousteau says in this video, "And the beauty is it belongs to all of us."
