Greenbelt Instructor Returns from the Kalahari Desert

Before his Greenbelt homeschool naturalist class holds its last lesson on Friday, instructor, Joey Murray, reminisces on his mid-semester trip to spend time with the Bushmen in Botswana.

Ancestral Knowledge instructor, Joey Murray, and his students are saying goodbye on Friday to their spring Homeschool Naturalist classes among the trees, birds and wildlife of Greenbelt, Md., with a new season of summer camps set to begin near the end of June.

Midway through his lessons on wilderness survival and naturalist skills to homeschool students ages 8 to 13, Murray touched down in the Kalahari Desert to spend time with the Bushmen in Botswana.

As a busy spring comes to a close, Murray stopped to reminisce on his homeschool and Botswana experiences.
