Join us for a look at how and why our global and regional climate is changing. We’ll also discuss what can be done to reduce our vulnerability to the effects of climate change.
The featured speaker Juanita Constible is an Al Gore-trained Climate Presenter with The Climate Reality Project. These specially trained climate activists are dedicated to educating people about the urgency and solvability of the climate crisis at a grassroots level worldwide. She also serves as their Science and Solutions Director.
Juanita is a coauthor of Climate Change from Pole to Pole: Biology Investigations, a book for high school and college science classrooms. She was trained as a wildlife biologist and has studied a wide array of species, from frogs in Canada’s boreal forest, to bison in southern California, to wingless flies in Antarctica.
