Greenbelt May Offer the Best Seat in the Northeast for Watching Atlantis Launch
In Greenbelt you can watch lift off on the big screen with an enthusiastic NASA Goddard staff.
Arguably, the best seat in the northeast for the public to watch the last shuttle flight is right here in Greenbelt on Friday.
NASA Goddard is opening its doors for the public to watch Atlantis' (STS-135) lift off on multiple large screens in their Visitor’s Center. Goddard staff will also be on hand watching with the public. Can you imagine a better crowd to experience it with?
Plus the Visitor's Center plans to give out free International Space Station (ISS) memorabilia, like an ISS poster.
