Greenbelt Faces Limited Public Transportation on Memorial Day

TheBus is not running, the Metro is closed, and only the BWI-Airport and College Park buses will be taking passengers on Memorial Day in Greenbelt, MD.

Greenbelters hoping to use public transportation on Memorial Day will have few options. TheBus will provide no service to Greenbelt on Monday, Metrobus will run buses on its scaled down Sunday schedule, and station will be closed.

Green Line riders can't commute to the next stop to bypass the shut down, as along northeast end of the Green Line, from Greenbelt to Fort Totten. But shuttle buses will be running between closed down stations.

As for bus service, the G12, G13, G14 and G16 buses will not run, according to WMATA—but the Greenbelt-BWI Airport line, bus B30, and the College Park line, bus 81, will be running.
