Keep these dates handy for the events leading up to Greenbelt elections.

Wed., Oct. 19: The first day to receive an absentee ballot.
Sat., Oct. 22 – Sun., Oct. 23: Early Voting in Greenbelt East/: Sat. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Mon., Oct. 24 – Fri., Nov. 4: Early Voting at /Center City: Mon. – Fri. 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., with extended hours on Tue. until 8 p.m.
Tue., Oct. 25: Candidates Forum: , 7:30 p.m., sponsored by Greenbelt Homes Inc.

Sat. Oct. 29 – Sun. Oct. 30: Early Voting in Greenbelt West, : Sat. 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Mon., Nov. 7: Last time to request an absentee ballot; first time to request emergency absentee ballot — by 12 p.m. noon
Tue., Nov. 8: Election 7 a.m. – 8 p.m., absentee ballots must be submitted by 6 p.m.
Mon., Nov. 14: Charter meeting for swearing-In of 39th City Council, 7:30 p.m., Greenbelt City Council will vote to select the next mayor and mayor pro tem.
