  • Recycle Right Award: Winners of the "Recycle Right" contest will receive new blue recycling bins as well as prizes awarded by the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments, Mom's Organic Market and College Park REI.
  • Municipal Government Proclamation Month: November is Municipal Government month. Beverly Palau, the city’s public information and communications coordinator will receive the proclamation from the mayor.
  • 75th Anniversary Committee Briefing: Dave Mills, chairman of the 75th Anniversary Committee, will provide an update on city’s 75th Anniversary plans.

Committee Report:
Council will hear the Advisory Committee on Trees Report #2011-3.

Other Business:
Council's packet for the night includes a proposed legislative program for 2012. Council plans to present an outline of the city's top legislative priorities at a dinner meeting on Wednesday, December 7, which will be attended by the city's state delegation and county council representatives. The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Greenbelt Marriott.
