Two Greenbelt Neighborhoods and Police Plan Community Walk

Windsor Green and Chelsea Woods residents look to strengthen ties with police departments.

In an effort to strengthen their ties between the community and police departments, residents of Chelsea Woods and Windsor Green will walk through their communities alongside members of the Prince George’s County Police (District 2) and the City of Greenbelt Police on Saturday, June 9 at 5 p.m.

The goal of the walk is to help curb crime through opening a dialogue with the local police departments, according to a flyer created by the Windsor Green Homeowners Association.

Interested parties should meet at 8445 Greenbelt Road at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
