Police Report 3 Armed Robberies in One Week in Greenbelt

The latest report cites three armed robberies within one week. The first suspect wore a ski mask and used a knife, the second robbery was at gunpoint, and in the third suspects used a BB gun to take an iPod.

A suspect described as a black male with a folding knife wearing a black shirt and a black ski mask robbed a male victim of his property at the 6100 block of Breezewood Court at 12:37 p.m. on Sunday, according to police.

Later that same day, two suspects robbed a victim of cash at gunpoint at the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 10:41 p.m., police said. The suspects were described as black males, both around 5 feet 11 with cornrows, and wearing black T-shirts, bluejeans and black shoes, according to police

Several days later, on Wednesday, three masked male suspects robbed a 14-year-old boy who was walking home—of his iPod. One assailant was armed with a BB gun, police said. The incident occurred at the 7700 block of Morrison Drive at 3:08 p.m.
