Shots Fired at Franklin Park Apartment
Greenbelt police respond to a report of gunfire near Edmonston Road Thursday.
The Greenbelt Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on the 9300 block of Edmonston Road on Thursday at about 3 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, the shooter had left the area, according to Capt. Thomas Kemp.
"Somebody shot up an apartment," Kemp said.
Although the police report that no one was injured, a preliminary investigation revealed that the person firing the weapon was targeting a specific apartment.

"It doesn't appear as if it was random," Kemp said.
