Police: Student Stabbed, Help ID 'Person of Interest'

Have you seen this man? Prince George's County Police are looking for him in connection with a stabbing.

The Prince George’s County Police have released a picture of a man believed to be involved with the stabbing a University of Maryland student in College Park over the weekend.

According to police, officers were called to the 4600 block of College Avenue on Saturday, Aug. 24 at about 1:30 a.m. When they arrived, police found a man who had been stabbed. He was taken to a local hospital, treated for his injuries and has been released.

Police say the victim and his assailant were arguing on College Avenue. The argument turned physical, according to police, and the assailant cut the victim, then ran away.

Police say the assailant is a white man with a slim build and blond hair. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
