Police Offer Up To $1,000 Cash For Information on Greenbelt Gunfight

Two suspects engaged in a gunfight that injured a teenage bystander, according to police. Now they're offering a reward.

 

The Greenbelt Police Department is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the two people who police say were allegedly involved in a  that left a teenage girl injured by a stray bullet.

The fight broke out near the area of Mandan Field, located near Mandan Road and Ora Glen Drive, according to police.

The girl was not involved in the fight, police said.

The teenager was hit while she was walking home at about 6:23 p.m., according to police.

She was treated at an area hospital and has since been released, police said.

 who they described as a black male, wearing tan shorts, no shirt and red and black sneakers.

Those providing information do not have to give their name or appear in court, the flier states. If their information leads to an arrest and indictment of the person or persons responsible for the crime, they may be eligible for a cash award, police said Tuesday.
