A man died after crashing during an illegal motorcycle race in Greenbelt Tuesday night, according to Prince George's County police.

The crash occurred around 10:50 Tuesday night on Good Luck Road at the intersection of Greenbelt Road, reports WUSA TV.

According to the police department's Twitter feed, two motorcycles were racing in the westbound lanes of Goodluck Road when Robert Edward Bailey III, 56, of Cambridge Park Court in Silver Spring lost control and crashed. Bailey was taken to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

On Wednesday, investigators said Bailey was westbound on Greenbelt Road when, for reasons which remain unclear, he failed to make a slight curve to the right and hit a curb. He then lost control and struck a guardrail.

These lawless crotch rocketeers are fearless and brainless, right through the middle of traffic these idiots are doing wheelies up and down the parkway everyday..I'm wondering why we're not hearing about more of these idiots being scraped up off the asphalt more often.
