Police Blotter: Oct. 27- Nov. 2

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

CENTER CITY

Oct. 29 at 4:14 p.m.: Handgun Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Kenilworth Avenue. Douglas Philmore Lindsey, 3rd, 22, of Raleigh, NC, was arrested and charged with Transporting a Handgun in a Vehicle and Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Oct. 31 at 10:41 p.m.: Strong Armed Robbery. Greenbelt Road at Capitol Drive. The victim was approached by two suspects, who assaulted him and took his property. The suspects are described as black males, 18-21 years old, 5’10”-6’1”, wearing black pants and black jackets.

FRANKLIN PARK/BELTWAY PLAZA/GREENBELT METRO/CAPITOL OFFICE PARK

Oct. 28 at 6:32 a.m.: Robbery. 9100 block Edmonston Court. The victims were approached by two suspects, who displayed a handgun, assaulted one of the victims, and took the victims’ property.The suspects are described as a black male, 6’, thin build, wearing a black coat and dark pants; and a male of unknown race, 5’5”, thin build, wearing dark clothes.

Oct. 28 at 9:08 a.m.: Burglary. 6100 block Springhill Terrace. Electronics, among other items, were taken.

Oct. 28 at 10:26 a.m.: Attempt Robbery. 9100 block Edmonston Road. The suspect approached the victim and attempted to take his money. The victim was able to lock himself in his vehicle. The suspect is described as a male, of unknown race, 5’8”, wearing a mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Oct. 28 at 5:47 p.m.: Drug Arrest. Springhill Lane at Breezewood Drive. Kelvin Rene Rodriguez, 21, of Silver Spring, was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Oct. 29 at 12:17 p.m.: Strong Armed Robbery. 6000 block Breezewood Terrace. The victim was approached by three suspects, who took the victims property. The suspects are described as black males wearing black clothing.

Oct. 29 at 9:11 p.m.: Burglary. 6000 block Springhill Drive. Nothing was taken.

Oct. 31 at 2:39 p.m.: Burglary. 6000 block Springhill Drive. A set of rims and a laptop were taken.

Oct. 31 at 7:38 p.m.: Robbery. 9100 block Edmonston Road. The suspect approached the victim, implied he had a weapon and demanded the victim’s property. The suspect is described as a black male, 20-25 years old, 5’8”-5’10”, 150-175 pounds, wearing all dark clothing.

Oct. 31 at 9:39 p.m.: Vandalism. 9100 block Springhill Court. A window was broken.

Nov. 1 8:02 p.m.:  Vandalism. 6100 block Springhill Terrace. A sliding glass door was broken.

Nov. 2 at 1:53 p.m.: Vandalism. 6200 block Springhill Court. A window was broken.

At 8:53 p.m.: Strong Armed Robbery. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. Two suspects approached the victim, assaulted him and took his property. The suspects are described as Hispanic males, 15-19 years old, 5’9”-5’11”, 135-145 pounds, with one suspect wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and the other wearing a black sweatshirt.

GREENBELT EAST/GREENWAY SHOPPING CENTER

Oct. 28 at 9:21 a.m.: Burglary. 7500 block Mandan Road. A vacuum cleaner was taken.

At 11:51 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 7500 block Greenbelt Road. Kory Christian Kenerson, 30, of Landover, was arrested and charged with Driving While Impaired by Drugs, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Oct. 29 at 6:31 a.m.: Disorderly Conduct. 7900 block Mandan Road. Justin Lionel Glascoe, 29, of 221 Castleton Terrace, Largo, and Tasheba Yvonne Judie, 26, of 7915 Mandan Road, #304, were arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. Both suspects were released on citation pending trial.

Nov. 2 at 6:21 p.m.: Strong Armed Robbery. 7500 block Hanover Parkway. The victim was approached by three suspects, who demanded his property. The suspects are described as black males, 17-19 years old, 5’5”-5’11”, medium build, wearing dark clothing.

Automotive Crime - City Wide

Oct. 27: Vandalism. 6500 block Lake Park Drive. A car window was broken.

Theft from Auto. 200 block Lakeside Drive. A rear Maryland tag was taken.

Oct. 30: Recovered Stolen Vehicle. 7700 block Mandan Road. A silver 1999 Toyota Camry with Maryland tags was recovered in the 7700 block of Mandan Road. No arrests were made.

Oct. 31: Theft from Auto. 9100 block Edmonston Court. A camera and toolbox were taken.

Nov. 1: Theft from Auto. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. A catalytic convertor was taken.

Nov. 2: Theft from Auto. 6200 block Springhill Court. A purse was taken.

Theft from Auto. 9300 block Edmonston Road. A rear Maryland tag was taken.

Theft from Auto. 6600 block Lake Park Drive. An iPod and speaker system were taken.
