Police Blotter: Nov. 4 - 10

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

CENTER CITY

Nov. 5 at 3:44 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Rt. 495. Jose G. Cardenas Velasquez, 46, of Suitland, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

At 5:02 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Ivy Lane. David Ward Porter, 40, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

FRANKLIN PARK/BELTWAY PLAZA/GREENBELT METRO/CAPITOL OFFICE PARK

Nov. 3 at 10:36 a.m.: Drug Arrest. 9100 block Springhill Court. Christopher Matthew Gray, 27, of Edgewater, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

At 12:59 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 9100 block Edmonston Court. Devante Marquis Anderson, 19, of Laurel, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

Nov. 5 at 9:07 p.m. Burglary. 6200 block Breezewood Drive. Nothing was taken.

Nov. 6 at 7:10 p.m.: Burglary. 6200 block Springhill Court. Electronics and jewelry were among the items taken.

Nov. 7 at 5:10 p.m.: Strong Armed Robbery. 6200 block Breezewood Drive. The victim was approached by the suspects, who assaulted the victim and took his property. The suspects are described as black males, 11 years old.

At 7:14 p.m.: Attempt Strong Armed Robbery. Breezewood Drive near Cherrywood Terrace. The suspects approached the victim and assaulted him while checking his pockets for property. The suspects are described as black males, 15-17 years old, wearing black ski masks.

Nov. 8 at 5:51 p.m.: Burglary. 9300 block Edmonston Road. Nothing was taken.

At 6:07 p.m.: Burglary. 5800 block Cherrywood Terrace. A television was taken.

At 8:25 p.m.: Burglary. 6100 block Springhill Terrace. Electronics were taken.

At 8:50 p.m.: Attempted Burglary. 6100 block Springhill Terrace.

Nov. 9 at 5:50 p.m.: Burglary. 9100 block Edmonston Terrace. Electronics were taken.

Nov. 10 at 7:15 a.m.: Burglary. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. An iPod was taken.

GREENBELT EAST/GREENWAY SHOPPING CENTER

Nov. 7 at 2:38 p.m.: Burglary. 7100 block Ora Court. Electronics and jewelry were among the items taken.

AUTOMOTIVE CRIME - CITY WIDE

Nov. 4 Theft from Auto. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. A book bag and wallet were taken.

Nov. 6 Theft from Auto. 6500 block Springcrest Drive. A radio face plate and currency were taken.

Theft from Auto. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. A Maryland registration sticker was taken.

Theft from Auto. 9100 block Springhill Lane. A cell phone was taken.

Nov. 7 Theft from Auto. 7900 block Mandan Road. A speaker system was taken.

Nov. 8 Attempt Theft of Auto. 9000 block Breezewood Terrace.

Nov. 9 Recovered Stolen Vehicle. 6200 block Springhill Drive. A gray 1998 Ford Crown Victoria with District of Columbia tags was taken and later recovered in the 6100 block of Breezewood Court. No arrests were made.

Stolen Vehicle. 9100 block Springhill Lane. A burgundy 2002 Dodge Durango with Maryland tags was taken.

Stolen Vehicle. 6200 block Breezewood Court. A red 1994 Ford Mustang with Maryland tags was taken.

Vandalism. 6400 block Capitol Drive. A windshield was broken.

Nov. 10 Stolen Vehicle. 9100 block Springhill Lane. A blue 2001 Jeep Cherokee with Delaware tags was taken.

Theft from Auto. 7300 block Morrison Drive. A set of lug nuts was taken.
