Police Blotter: May 6 - 12

The Greenbelt Police released an activity report of crime in the last week.

May 6: Electronics were taken from a residence on the 9100 block of Springhill Lane at 11:46 a.m.

Electronics were taken from a residence on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 12:21 p.m.

Electronics were taken from a residence on the. 7800 block of Hanover Parkway at 4 p.m.

Keonna Nicole Perkins, 24, of Clinton, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the Unit block of Ridge Road at 9:45 p.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

May 7: Kevin Patrick Flynn, 29, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the intersection of Greenbelt Road and Lakecrest Drive at 3:52 a.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

May 8: Unknown suspect(s) fired several shots from a handgun in the area of the intersection of Mandan Road and Hanover Parkway at 1:11 a.m. No damage was found.

Graffiti was found on a door on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 9 a.m.

Jewelry and clothes were among the items taken from a residence on the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive at 11:37 p.m.

May 9: Electronics were taken from a residence on the 6100 block of Breezewood Court at 12:38 a.m.

Hezekiah McEaddy, 22, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with indecent exposure on the Unit block of Crescent Road at 10:57 a.m. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

A sliding glass door was broken on the 9300 block of Edmonston Road at 4:18 p.m.

A window was broken on the 6000 block of Springhill Drive at 5:57 p.m.

May 11: Electronics were taken from a residence on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 11:51 a.m.

A bicycle was taken from a residence on the 6000 block of Springhill Drive at 5:10 p.m.

May 12: A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for possession of a concealed deadly weapon on the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway at 10:42 a.m. The juvenile was released to a guardian pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

An attempted vehicle theft occurred on the 9200 block of Springhill Lane.
