Police Blotter: June 10 - 16

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

June 10:  A radio was taken from a vehicle on the 9300 block of Edmonston Road.

June 11: Daniel Guardado, 21, of Hyattsville, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs and alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges after a traffic stop on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road at 2:10 a.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial. 

Samantha Lorene Howard, 22, of College Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the 7500 block of Greenbelt Road at 2:55 a.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Sheena Diane Derr, 28, of Washington, District of Columbia, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, after a traffic stop near Greenbelt Road on Kenilworth Avenue at 8:44 p.m. The suspect was released on citation pending trial. 

Joel Avalos Tacu, 29, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop on the 5800 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 11:55 p.m. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

A window was broken on the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway. 

A gold 2000 Dodge Intrepid with District of Columbia tags, reported stolen through Prince George’s County Police, was recovered on the 9000 block of Breezewood Terrace.  No arrests were made. 

June 12: A window was broken on the 6200 block of Springhill Drive at 4:52 p.m. 

A window was broken on the 6100 block of Springhill Terrace at 5:08 p.m.

A window was broken on the 9300 block of Edmonston Road at 6:48 p.m.

Currency was taken from a residence on the 5900 block of Cherrywood Terrace at 8:00 p.m.

June 14: Electronics, currency and a red 2006 Honda Odyssey van with Maryland tags were taken from a residence on the 100 block of Westway at 6:57 a.m.

A window was broken on the 100 block of Westway at 12:37 p.m.

Handbags were taken from a vehicle on the 7700 block of Hanover Parkway. 

June 15:  A radio was taken from a vehicle on the 7900 block of Mandan Road. 

A computer bag was taken from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Breezewood Court. 

A GPS unit was taken from a vehicle on the 9100 block of Springhill Lane. 

A car seat, sunglasses and an iPod were taken from a vehicle on the 6100 block of Breezewood Drive. 

A radio was taken from a vehicle on the 6200 block of Springhill Drive. 

June 16:  A DVD player was taken from a vehicle on the 9100 block of Edmonston Road.
