Police Blotter: Jan. 19 - 26

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Center City

Jan. 21 at 12:20 a.m.: Disorderly Conduct Arrest. 6400 block Capitol Drive. Marvin A. Taaff, 25, of 7314 Flower Avenue, Takoma Park, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Jan. 23 at 1:40 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Greenbelt Road. Emmanuel Fusi Abong, 39, of 6919 Elbrook Road, Lanham, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Franklin Park, Beltway Plaza, Greenbelt Metro, Capitol Office Park

Jan. 19 at 9:38 p.m.: Vandalism. 9100 block Edmonston Road. A window was broken.

Jan. 22 at 5:36 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 6100 block Greenbelt Road. A non-resident juvenile was petitioned for possession with intent to distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana and theft, among other charges. The suspect was released to a guardian pending action by the Department of Juvenile Services.

At 11:40 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 6200 block Springhill Drive. Hector Hugo Loredo Montes, 35, of 6209 Springhill Court, #203, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Jan. 23 at 5:42 p.m.: Burglary. 6100 block Breezewood Drive. Currency was taken.

At 7 p.m.: Burglary. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. Electronics were taken.

At 7:20 p.m.: Burglary. 9100 block Edmonston Court. Electronics were taken.

Jan. 24 at 4:43 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 6000 block Breezewood Drive. Christopher Courtland Smith, 19, of 5108 Aldershot Drive, Lanham, and Tyrell Deontre Temoney, 19, of 9156 Springhill Lane, were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspects were released on citation pending trial.

Jan. 25 at 1:18 a.m.: Trespassing. 9100 block Springhill Lane. Antwione Curtis Bradley, 28, of 12809 Rhett Court, Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

At 5:24 p.m.: Burglary. 6200 block Springhill Court. Electronics were taken.

Greenbelt East, Greenway Shopping Center

Jan. 20 at 11:58 a.m.: Vandalism. 7400 block Greenbelt Road. A window was broken.

Jan. 26 at 10:52 a.m.: Vandalism. 7500 block Mandan Road. A sliding glass door was broken.

Automotive Crime - City Wide

Jan. 19: Vandalism. Unit block Westway. A window was broken.

Jan. 22: Theft from Auto. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. Tools were taken.

Jan. 23: Theft from Auto. 7700 block Hanover Parkway. Clothing was taken. 

Theft from Auto. 7700 block Hanover Parkway. A backpack and a roadside kit were taken.

Theft from Auto. 7800 block Hanover Parkway. Gasoline was taken.

Jan. 24: Theft from Auto. 8100 block Craddock Road. A GPS unit was taken.

Theft from Auto. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. A radio face-plate was among the items taken.

Vandalism. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. Windows were broken on three vehicles.

Theft from Auto. 9100 block Springhill Lane. An iPod and clothes were taken.

Vandalism. 9100 block Springhill Lane. A window was broken.

Theft from Auto. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. Tools were taken.

Vandalism. 6100 block Breezewood Drive. Windows were broken on three vehicles.

Theft from Auto. 100 block Westway. Gasoline was taken.

Theft from Auto. 6100 block Breezewood Drive. A stereo system was taken.

Theft from Auto. 9300 block Edmonston Road. Back-up sensors were taken.

Jan. 26: Theft from Auto. 7900 block Mandan Road. A purse and laptop were taken.

Stolen Vehicle. Unit block Lakecrest Circle. A black 1992 Plymouth Reliant with MD tags was taken and subsequently recovered by the Prince George's County Police. No arrests were made.
