PGPD Officers Train in Vacant Greenbelt Apartment Building

According to the county police, their emergency services team were preparing for future barricade situations.

Practice makes perfect and that adage applies to police officers too.

According to the Prince George's County Police department, officers on their Emergency Services Team trained in Greenbelt Tuesday in an effort to prepare for barricade situations as well as executing search warrants.

They used a vacant apartment complex in the city for their training, according to the department's Facebook page.

Police said residents were notified about the drill, so it shouldn't have been a surprise.
