Overturned Vehicle in Greenbelt Sent One Man to the Hospital
Firefighters from Greenbelt and Berwyn Heights attended to an early morning accident of an overturned vehicle that sent one man to the hospital.
An early morning accident on Hanover Parkway sent one man to the hospital with non-threatening injuries.
The accident occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. Friday at the 6900 block of Hanover Parkway in Greenbelt. A van was traveling southbound on Hanover Parkway and overturned at the traffic circle trapping the driver inside.
Firefighters from the Greenbelt and Berwyn Heights Fire Departments were called to the scene of the accident. The crew from Rescue Squad 14 from Berwyn Heights had to cut the roof off of the van to free the driver who then was transported to a local hospital.
