Greenbelt Police Report: Indecent Exposure to a Girl, Armed Robbery Attempt, 4 Drug Arrests, 3 Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department for Nov. 1 through Nov. 8. It does not indicate a conviction.

A man exposes himself to a girl, an armed robbery attempt, four drug arrests, three burglaries, 7 DWIs, trespassing, disturbing the peace and vandalism, in the Greenbelt Police Department report for Nov. 1 through Nov. 8.

Center City

Nov 2 at 1:06 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Southway. A Capitol Heights man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

At 4:20 p.m.: Burglary. 62 court Ridge Road. A bicycle was taken from the property.

Nov. 3 at 3:16 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Crescent Road at Hillside Road. A Greenbelt woman was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov. 5 at 9:25 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Kenilworth Avenue. A Greenbelt woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov. 8 at 9 a.m.: Burglary. 6 Curt Hillside Road. Two bicycles were taken from a yard.

Franklin Park, Beltway Plaza, Greenbelt Metro, Capitol Office Park

Nov. 1 at 1:53 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 9200 block Springhill Lane. A Greenbelt man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov. 2 at 5:07 p.m.: Indecent Exposure. 6100 block Springhill Terrace. An adult male exposed his genitals to a juvenile female. The suspect is described as a male, 5-foot-4, 110 pounds, who possibly resides in the area of the incident.

At 11:24 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Breezewood Drive at Edmonston Terrace. An Upper Marlboro man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov. 3 at 2:14 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 8900 block Kenilworth Avenue. A Herndon, VA man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov 4 at 3:45 a.m.: Disturbing the Peace. 6200 block Springhill Court. A Greenbelt man was arrested and charged with disturbing the peace for continuing to play loud music. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

At 11 a.m.: Burglary. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. Electronics and jewelry were taken.

Nov. 4 at 3:07 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. A Riverdale man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Nov. 5 at 6:47 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 9000 block Breezewood Terrace. A Greenbelt man and two Greenbelt women, along with a Washington DC man were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana. The suspects were released on a citation pending trial.

Greenbelt East, Greenway Shopping Center

Nov. 4 at 12:40 a.m.: Trespassing. 7200 block Hanover Drive. A Greenbelt man was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property. The suspect was released on citation pending trial.

Nov. 6 at 6:10 p.m.: Attempt Armed Robbery. 7200 block Mandan Road. The suspect approached the victim, implied that he had a weapon and asked the victim for money. The victim told the suspect he did not have any money, and the suspect walked away. The suspect is described as a male, 17-18 years old, 5-foot-7, 5-foot-8, 140-155 pounds, wearing a black North Face jacket and a black mask.

At 9:11 p.m.: Vandalism. 7700 block Hanover Parkway. Graffiti was found in the stairwell.

Automotive Crime - City Wide

Nov. 2: Theft from Auto. 7300 block Morrison Drive. A rear MD tag was taken.

Theft from Auto. 7200 block Hanover Drive. A rear MD tag was taken. 

Nov. 4: Stolen Vehicle. 9100 block Edmonston Road. A red 1996 Audi Cabriolet with MD tags was taken. 

Vandalism. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. A set of tires were flattened and windows were broken out of a vehicle.

Nov. 5: Vandalism. 6100 block Greenbelt Road. A windshield was broken.

Nov. 6: Vandalism. 6100 block Springhill Terrace. A windshield was damaged.

Nov. 7: Stolen Vehicle. 6900 block Hanover Parkway. A white 2004 Ford Crown Victoria with MD tags was taken.
