Greenbelt Police Report Includes A Robbery with a Handgun

The following arrest information for April 5 - 11 was supplied by the Greenbelt Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Center City

April 6 at 1:35 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Kenilworth Avenue. Legonn Raymon Haskins, 24, of College Park, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

April 5 at 8:41 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 5900 block Cherrywood Lane. Alan Pierre Penn, Jr., 21, of Beltsville, was arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released on a citation pending trial.

At 9:07 p.m.: Concealed Weapon. 6000 block Springhill Drive. Raynard Davonte Williams, 19, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged wearing/carrying a weapon, failure to obey a lawful order and resisting arrest, among other charges. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

At 10:50 p.m.: Trespassing. 9300 block Edmonston Road. Donald Tony Brown, 31, of Washington, D.C., was arrested and charged with trespassing on posted property and possession of burglary tools, among other charges. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

April 6 at 6:50 p.m.: Trespassing. Cherrywood Lane at Springhill Drive. Antwione Curtis Bradley, 28, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

April 11 at 11:08 a.m.: Vandalism. 8900 block Edmonston Road. Windows were damaged.

Greenbelt East, Greenway Shopping Center

April 5 at 5:22 p.m.: Drug Arrest. 6900 block Hanover Parkway. Alhaji Mohamed Barrie, 27, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

April 6 at 3:05 p.m.: Burglary. 7900 block Mandan Road. Electronics and jewelry were taken.

April 7 at 3:03 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Frankfort Drive. Christopher Claudius Jones, 23, of Upper Marlboro, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

At 4:52 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Good Luck Road. Ahmed Kalokoh, 32, of Largo, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

April 8 at 3:29 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Greenbelt Road at Hanover Parkway. Marian Gloria Kamara-Moore, 49, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

April 9 at 10:50 p.m.: Robbery. Frankfort Drive at Frankfort Court. The victim was approached by two suspects, who displayed a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects are described as black males, wearing all dark clothing with black bandanas covering their faces.

Automotive Crime — City Wide

April 5: Vandalism. Unit block Southway. A car was scratched. 

Vandalism. 9100 block Springhill Lane. A window was broken. 

April 8: Vandalism. Unit block Southway. Tires were punctured. 

April 9: Theft from Auto. 6200 block Springhill Court. A GPS unit and stereo were among the items taken.
