Armed robbery, reckless endangerment, burglary, an attempted armed robbery, an attempted strong armed robbery, 5 DWIs, 11 auto crimes, vandalism, disorderly conduct—in the latest Greenbelt Police Department report.

Center City

Oct. 4 at 4:11 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Crescent Road. A Beltsville man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The driver was released on citations pending trial.

Oct. 7 at 3:32 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Southway at Greenbelt Road. A Gwynn Oak man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic accident. The driver was released on citations pending trial.

Oct. 9 at 7:42 a.m.: Attempt Armed Robbery. 50 court Ridge Road. The victim was sitting in her vehicle when the suspect approached the passenger window, displayed a handgun and demanded money. The victim immediately drove off. The suspect is described as a male, 15-17 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-11, thin build with bushy hair, last seen wearing a gray hooded shirt and jeans.

Oct. 10 at 3:30 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 8900 block Kenilworth Avenue. A Riverdale woman was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The driver was released on citations pending trial.

Franklin Park, Beltway Plaza, Greenbelt Metro, Capitol Office Park

Oct. 5 at 10:28 a.m.: Attempted Strong Armed Robbery. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. A Greenbelt teen was arrested and charged with attempted strong armed robbery and attempted theft under $1,000, among other charges, after trying to take a pair of shoes from the victim. The teen was released to the Department of Corrections for a hearing before a District Court Commissioner.

At 9 p.m.: Vandalism. 9100 block Edmonston Court. A window was broken.

Oct. 6 at 2:56 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Cherrywood Lane. A Bladensburg man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol, among other charges after a traffic stop. The driver was released on citations pending trial.

At 4:14 a.m.: Armed Robbery. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. Two suspects approached the victims, displayed handguns and demanded the victims’ property. The suspects are described as males, 18-21 years old; one suspect was described as 5-foot-9, 160 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and Nike Crimson Foamposite sneakers. The second suspect was described as 5-foot-6, 150 pounds, wearing a black puffy coat, blue jeans and dark colored shoes.

At 6:50 p.m.: Disorderly Conduct. 9200 block Springhill Lane. Chad Edward Stuckey, 32, of Berwyn Heights, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. He was released on a citation pending trial.

Oct. 7 at 2:41 a.m.: Reckless Endangerment. 6100 block Breezewood Court. Officers responded to the area for the report of the subject firing a gun into the air. No injured persons or property damage were found. The suspect is described as a male, thin build, wearing a black and orange jacket.

At 7:26 p.m.: Burglary. 9100 block Edmonston Terrace. Electronics and jewelry were taken.

Oct. 5 at 1:49 a.m.: Attempt Burglary. 7400 block Greenbelt Road.

At 2:10 a.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. 7500 block Greenbelt Road. A Bowie man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol among other charges after a traffic stop. The river was released on citations pending trial.

Oct. 5: Stolen Vehicle. 6 court Ridge Road. A gray 2008 Honda Civic with MD tags was taken.

Theft from Auto. 5 court Ridge Road. Currency and a cup holder were taken.

Stolen Vehicle. 6200 block Springhill Court. A black 2007 Toyota Corolla with MD tags was taken.

Oct. 6: Theft from Auto. 400 block Ridge Road. A leaf blower and weed trimmer were taken.

Theft from Auto. 6000 block Greenbelt Road. A rear MD tag was taken.

Oct. 7: Theft from Auto. 7600 block Greenbelt Road. A purse was taken.

Oct. 9: Theft from Auto. 7000 block Mathew Street. A backpack was taken.
