Greenbelt Police Report: 1 DWI, 1 Trespassing, 5 Automotive Crimes

Only two non-automative crimes in the Aug. 2 - 6 Greenbelt Police report.

 

The Greenbelt Police Department provided the following report, which includes a DWI, a trespassing and five automotive crimes; it does not indicate a conviction.

Aug. 2 at 7:52 p.m.: DUI/DWI Arrest. Kenilworth Avenue at Old Calvert Road. Wember A. Martinez, 48, of Manassas, VA, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving while impaired by alcohol. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Aug. 3 at 11:14 p.m.: Trespassing. 5800 block Cherrywood Terrace. Lamar Lee Perry, 20, of Greenbelt, was arrested and charged with trespassing on private property and failure to obey a lawful order, among other charges. The suspect was released on citations pending trial.

Automotive Crimes - City Wide

Aug. 3: Attempt Theft of Auto. 9200 block Springhill Lane. 

Recovered Stolen Vehicle. 5900 block Cherrywood Terrace. A purple 1998 Dodge Stratus with Maryland tags was taken and later recovered in University Park. No arrests were made. 

Aug. 4 Recovered Stolen Vehicle. 7300 block Morrison Drive. A blue 2001 Dodge Stratus with Maryland tags, reported stolen through Prince George’s County Police, was recovered. No arrests were made.

Vandalism. 9000 block Edmonston Road. A windshield and headlight were broken. 

Aug. 6: Vandalism. 9000 block Breezewood Terrace. Side mirrors were broken.
