Armed Robbery, Burglary Reported in Greenbelt

Police are investigating a strong-armed robbery that occurred on the afternoon of June 23 in the 5700 block of Greenbelt Metro Drive .

The victim told police that a male "acquaintance" took items from her pockets while they were walking around 1:45 p.m, according to the report. 

A burglary was also reported to police in the 9300 block of Edmonston Road on June 26 just before 5 p.m. Electronics and jewelry were among the items taken, police said.
