$25K Reward Offered in College Park Homicide

A $25,000 reward is being offered to tips that lead to an arrest and indictment in the case of a woman murdered in a College Park hotel room, says the Prince George's County Police Department. 

Patrol officers wer ecalled to a hotel in the 9100 block of Baltimore Avenue about 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday. They found a woman suffering from an apparent gunshot wound inside a hotel room.

The victim, Catina Cortes, 25, of Far Rockaway, NY, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 301-772-4925.

It is sad that this happen. I hope the cops find out who did this. That said, we were told by the elected officials that the new Gun law would reduce crime. Lied to again. Just maybe the law makers will quit making laws that go after the honest citizens and focus on the nut jobs that do the crime.
