Whitney Street Quartet Plays in New Deal Sunday

You can enjoy Memorial Day weekend with music, Lebanese food, wine and a movie.

 

Enjoy a mix of folk, pop and jazz standards—and maybe an Irish jig or two, when the Whitney Street Quartet plays at the on Sunday, May 27, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

While you're at the New Deal, Chef Karim and Maria will be serving some Lebanese favorites. Take a look at their lunch and dinner menu, with foods ranging from hummus with shwarma and Falafel, to kabobs, salads, soups and desserts. You can also sample the café's gourmet wine selection or beer on tap.

The café is in the historic Roosevelt Center in the heart of Old Greenbelt, MD. Across the square is the nostalgic single-screen . Take in a movie before or after enjoying the quartet's music.
