Obituary: George David Green, 53, "DrDave"

Green was the owner of CompNetDoc Inc.


George David Green of College Park died July 13, 2012, following a long battle with squamous cell cancer, according to the Washington Post. He was 53.

The owner of CompNetDoc Inc., Green was known to some clients and friends as "DrDave".

His Angie's List posting says most of his advertising was word of mouth "from happy customers." It also reveals that "DrDave worked for Chuck Levins back in the day in the repair department!"

Green was an inventor who loved helping others and also was known for his love of outdoor sports like hiking and hang gliding, according to the Post.

Gifts in Dave's name can be sent to Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center with checks written to Johns Hopkins Medicine, noting the gift is in memory of George David Green, the Post states.
