Three-time Greenbelt Jeopardy Champion Defends Her Title

Jessamine Price is reigning Jeopardy champion.

The hardest thing about Jeopardy is trying to hit the buzzer—not answering the questions, according to Greenbelter and three-time Jeopardy winner Jessamine Price.

The contestants often know the answers and are all trying to ring in at the same time. It can comes down to "whoever has the fastest reflexes," she said.

On Monday night, once again, . Now, her three-day total winnings have amounted to $26,803.

Tuesday will be Price's fourth time to appear on the game show. Talking to Patch before the program aired for the night, Price said Monday had been a particularly challenging match.

"Those guys were so fast," she said. She also said challenger Reid Rodgers was a great opponent, so winning the game felt like quite an accomplishment for her.

Although Price doesn't like the buzzer, she enjoys the game. Her favorite part?

"It's just so much fun answering questions," said Price, who with her family.

Greenbelters and fans can tune in Monday at 7:30 p.m. on WJLA ABC Channel 7 to see if Price can maintain her Jeopardy title for a fourth night.
