Citizens may drop off donated items to any community-based Fire/EMS Station in Prince George's County. This effort will continue until mid-December. Local businesses also may arrange their own spot for a donation box. Suggested items for troops include canned goods, toiletries and linen, water bottles, snacks such as beef jerky, protein bars and dried fruit, and school supplies and toys for troops to deliver to Iraqi and Afghan children.
