Greenbelt Access Television Holds Non-Profit Day

The Greenbelt Access Television (GATE) Studio will be holding a Non-Profit Day on Saturday, February 18, from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Based on “first come, first served," representatives of Greenbelt-based, non-profit organizations will have a window of time to present a 30 second PSA. The PSA will be taped, edited and shown between programs on the GATE Channels Comcast 77 and Verizon Fios 19. Events targeted for promotion should not be less than a week out.

Presenters should bring a draft script, including who they are, their organizational name, a brief description of the mission or event to be publicized, and contact information. Any additional supporting pictures should be brought in as jpegs on a CD. We DO NOT recommend wearing all black, all white, or small patterns as they do not videotape well.

A professional grade, Autoscript teleprompter is available, so there is no need to memorize a script though we recommend a certain “familiarity” with its contents.
