Bidder 70

Environmental Activist or Eco-Terrorist?! You Decide.

This is
the story of college student, Tim DeChristopher, who decided to disrupt
a highly disputed Utah BLM Oil and Gas lease auction, effectively
safeguarding thousands of acres of pristine Utah land slated for oil and
gas leases. Tim entered the auction hall, registered as bidder #70, and
outbid industry giants on land parcels winning 22,000 acres of land
worth $1.7 million before the auction was halted. For this action, Tim
was incarcerated for 21 months.

Bidder 70
centers
on an extraordinary, ingenious and effective act of civil disobedience
which would redefine patriotism in our time and ignite a spirit of civil
disobedience in the name of climate justice. Follow Tim, Bidder 70,
from college student to incarcerated felon. Redefine justice for
yourself. Choose your side. Take action

have appeared in The Washington Post, NPR, Vice, Democracy Now!, and
Rolling Stone.

Will's book, Green is the New Red: An Insider's Account of a Social Movement Under Siege, awarded a Kirkus Star for "remarkable merit",
documents
the scare tactics used by the government, often in concert with large

they dub "animal rights extremists and eco-terrorists."
