SIX FLAGS CELEBRATES CINCO DE MAYO WITH LIVE ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD TRUCKS AND MORE

On May 5, 2013, Six Flags America will celebrate Cinco de Mayo, presented by Ortega, with an impressive lineup of entertainment, games, prizes, food and a special Coasters After Dark ride time.


Musical sensation Toby Love, a native of Puerto Rico, will perform live with his unique style of bachata music combining traditional and urban singing. Mariachi Aguila, Washington DC’s premier mariachi, a six piece ensemble will also be performing live.


In between Tony Love and Mariachi Aguila a talented group of local folklore dancers will entertain guests with dance routines particular to Mexico and Latin countries. There will also be a fun filled Fiesta Hour sponsored by Ortega where guests will participate in games, activities and trivia, winning special Cinco de Mayo prizes and giveaways.

For an added thrill for the taste buds several food trucks will join this exciting day to serve up authentic, fresh and delicious food. Including, BBQ Bus, A Lo Cubano, Borinquen Lunchbox and DC Empanadas.The thrill of riding a coaster is always heightened after the sun goes down. The park will stay open 30 minutes later for guests to participate in Coasters After Dark. Guests should go online to sixflags.com/cincodemayo to print a PDF voucher which can be exchanged for a wristband allowing them to ride SUPERMAN, Ride of Steel or Batwing starting at 7 p.m.
