Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) launch party

NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center is hosting a live launch viewing of the Landsat Data Continuity Mission!

The Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) is the eighth spacecraft in the Landsat satellite series. Since 1972, Landsat satellites have been observing and measuring Earth’s continental and coastal landscapes at a scale where human impacts and natural changes can be monitored and characterized over time. LDCM will launch from Vandenberg AFB near Lampoc, California.
