Family Science Night

The Howard B. Owens Science Center will host a free Family Science Night for parents, students, and community members.

It’s one thing to sound scientific and make bold claims, but can you prove what you say? Scientists have to! Scientists perform experiments and collect data in order to prove what they think is true. Join our teaching staff to find out how it’s done. A variety of hands-on demonstrations and activities will be available for all budding scientists who attend. Live Animals!  See stars and fly to Mars in the planetarium and Challenger Center!  Don’t take us at our word, make us PROVE IT! ALL FREE! (Free tickets required for some events; available at the door on a first-come, first served basis.)
