Exploring The Three Things every Senior Citizen needs to know about their Teeth!

On Friday, February 1, Explorations Unlimited welcomes Dr. Jay McCarl and Dr. Dianne Lee, presenting on the importance of how to take a good care of your teeth. There are three things that every senior citizen should know. Don't you want to know? They are: 1) The most common dental side effect of prescription drugs today; 2) Bone preservation: How to save it and why it's important; and 3) A simple way to know if you have sparkling clean teeth!

Dr. Lee has a B. S. degree from University of Maryland, Collage Park. In 2009, She graduated from the one of the top rated dental schools, the University of Maryland Dental School. From there, she continued to further her education in practice management, cosmetic dentistry, and endodontic. She is very energetic and dynamic.

Dr. McCarl has a B.A. degree from Gettysburg College. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School. During his spare time, He is very active in his church and provides coaching in several children's sports teams. Greenbelt’s very own first dentist was his grandfather, James W. McCarl, and Jay is proud to be following his grandfather's footsteps in the dentistry career. Door prizes may be being given out, so come find out and grab your opportunity.

Explorations Unlimited is held every Friday from 1:00-3:00pm at the Greenbelt Community Center. This presentation will be held in the Senior Classroom, room 114. Everyone is welcome to attend and questions are always encouraged. Please call 301-397-2208 for more information.
