                 Exploring Writing Your Memoir

On Friday, April 12, Explorations Unlimited welcomes Rebecca Coleman, who will be presenting on the subject of Writing Your Memoir. She will be talking about the unique challenges of memoir-writing, followed by a discussion of examples from published memoirs, and analyzing together the different approaches taken by different authors. Participants will then use prompts to try our their hands at it, and share and discuss a few examples of what they wrote. Finally, the group will talk about how to take it to the next level-- writing a "full" memoir, whatever they perceive that to be, and how to publish it (or preserve it) for themselves and their posterity.

Explorations Unlimited is held every Friday from 1:00-3:00 pm at the Greenbelt Community Center. This presentation will be held in the Senior Classroom, room 114. Everyone is welcome to attend and questions are always encouraged. Please call 301-397-2208 for more information.
