“The purpose of this forum,” says Alana M Williams, Esq., Publicity Chair of the Steering Committee, “is to give candidates for governor an opportunity to address policy issues vital to our state’s future, bring awareness of the historical and important state primary election held in June, and to shed light on issues unique to African Americans, women and Prince George’s County residents for the Gubernatorial Candidates to consider. These issues involve a range of crucial matters that include education, health care, economic development, and public safety.”
